This is our take on glamping. We set out to create the ultimate glamping experience by combining a beautiful bell tent and luxury amenities pod.

Bell Tent
Enjoy the night in a spacious, naturally breathing canvas bell tent with a Queen size bed, record player, 240v power and USB charging.
Amenities pod
Kitchen with electric stove, bar fridge, coffee and tea making facilities and toaster. Bathroom with eco toilet, shower and vanity. Day bed and breakfast bar.
The Site
Large deck and lawned area with a dedicated parking area, outdoor fireplace and umbrella. Set along the banks of Wollombi Brook, vineyard views and surrounded by mountain ranges.
About your stay
Broke Estate is a working farm and as such your stay with us may be unique.
- We ask all guests to please keep out of the vineyard for biosecurity reasons. The majority of our vineyard work which involves machinery happens early morning a few times per year. During harvest (Jan-Mar) and the time leading up to harvest the vineyard is the most busy.
- After heavy rains we can have a large numbers of insects for a few days. In the Amenities Pod we provide different types of insect repellents.
- During forecasted severe weather events (including hot days over 40 degrees) we will communicate with you to see if you wish to cancel your booking, all cancellations due to a forecasted severe weather event are fully refunded if cancelled before checking in (less any booking fees from 3rd party sites like AirBnB).
- We have two border collies (Bella and Baxter) that will most likely visit you upon your arrival at Broke Estate.
- Maxium of 2 people per glamping site. Caravans, vans and byo tents or swags are not allowed. Please contact us if you have specific requirements.
About Broke
Located in the Hunter Valley, and more specifically the ‘Broke Fordwich region, one of Australia’s best wine regions. We are a comfortable 2 hour trip north of Sydney along the Hunter Expressway or 1 hour from Newcastle.
Glamping Cancellation
We understand that from time to time your plans change and you may need to cancel or amend your booking. We offer a full refund for all cancellations made at least 5 days prior to arrival. No refunds are offered for cancellations within 5 days of your arrival.
